So, on 13 September I met the real butter that flies… hehe, just kidding, it’s the butterflies. :P Anyway, I just want to jot down here the day I met the butterflies for my remembrance. Therefore, please be warned that there will be lots of photos in this post.

Babyryan Goes To HK – Day 4 & 5

Feb 17, 2009 Author: Ryan | Filed under: My 2nd Year, Shopping, Travels

16 January 09, 12.30pm

Just had brunch and testing out my new shoes at Tsim Sha Tsui… :) We took the hotel’s free shuttle bus again to there.

And yes, we headed to The Avenue Of Stars again. We’ve been to this place on the first day but then we’ve not seen the lovely view and snap some photos during day time. Well, I love this giant size car and wanted to get in and ride on it. However, I only get to sit on its bonnet as mummy said that it wasn’t a real car.

Next, I saw this huge blue color bear and sat on it. Anyway, I was reluctant to get up as this bear reminds me the fun of riding a “kok kok” (horse) on daddy’s back… :P I wish I could bring this bear back home as it’s bigger than daddy!

Ahh… This is my Ah Chek (uncle). Don’t play play oh, he knows kungfu… see, he’s in the making of an action movie. :P

While the adults busied themselves posing for the camera, I had a good time wandering around on my own. However, I refused to let the adults to carry me and leave this place the adults spent too long taking photos till I have to rush them to proceed to other destination… :P

Then, suddenly I was caught by these ladies to snap a photo. The funny thing was… of all things, I don’t know why they chose to take a photo with the recycle bins… *shake head*

3.00pm

Next, we headed to Times Square at Causeway Bay for a walk and also…. shopping lor what else.

Look at the number of people there crossing the street… alot huh?? And they walk pretty fast!!

The best egg tarts the adults had eaten in HK! Yummy!!

6.00pm

Here’s mummy posing for the camera. Can you see those bags in her hand?? She thought she could hide some of her loot behind her back!!

Oh ya… I spotted a Minnie mouse in Wong Kok! By the way, the adults headed back to Wong Kok for their last round of shopping… sigh.

There’s an Apple Shop which doesn’t sell Apples but clothing… and daddy thought they sell Apple iPod!

8.30pm

Dining at KFC @ HK. Haha! We couldn’t find any restaurant which is not fully packed with people. In fact, many of the food outlets were pretty small and not convenient for my stroller to go in… furthermore, most of the restaurants don’t have any baby chairs!!

So, here’s the KFC grilled chicken wings… something different from ours. We found out that HK people don’t eat the chickens with their bare hands. They wear plastic gloves which were provided by KFC when they eat. The plastic gloves are the ones used by our hawkers/food stalls when their hands get contact with the food.

One more thing, their KFC don’t have any coleslaw. Instead, they have this rice served with few pieces of chicken meat and some gravy. The gravy was kinda the same gravy as the mash potatoes… :D Well, after feasting on the food we headed back to the hotel and get some rest after the long day out.

17 January 09, 10.00am

Daddy’s yummy Chicken chop rice… we had our breakfast cum lunch at the “Char Chan Theng” nearby our hotel.

Checked out from hotel and then checking in at the HKIA… yes, we’re heading home!!

12.00pm

And of course… most importantly was to pick a souvenir for myself before heading home otherwise would regret later, right?? Hehe… ;)

3.00pm

On the way back to my home sweet home… okay, I did whine a little as the ‘Mr. phobia’ emerged in me again as soon as I saw the seats and the little windows :P Ahhh… glad to be home anyway! :)
