Greetings to all! I’ve just checked out from the 4 days and 3 nights stay at the BUNGALOW yesterday noon. This was not my very first time staying the BUNGALOW though it’s a different BUNGALOW than the one I’ve stayed before.

As you’ve known that I was on high fever for the past few days since last Tuesday, mummy and daddy decided to take me to see Dr. Dan again on last Friday. Both of them rushed back home from work at 4pm to rush me to the Bungalow. Then, Dr. suggested to them to get me check in to the Bungalow for observations and also to get the ‘special treatment’.

So this is part of the Bungalow’s Xmas decorations at their lobby area. The other side is decorated with snowmen! Nice huh?? I like the red colour leaves and I called it as “Wawuer” (flower). On the ceiling it has many “Tar” hanging above my head… but mummy said they’re snowflakes. Anyway, it looked like Star to me… :P Well, their lobby area looked like a 5 star hotel!

So this is my room at the Bungalow. It has two beds. I took the bed near to the window and the other one was unoccupied. I was supposed to get the room at the Kids’ ward but then two bedded rooms sold out already. Hence, I was given a room at the Surgical ward on the same floor as the Kids’ ward.

The Bungalow has a play area for kids at the other wing on the same floor as my room. I enjoyed playing there… However, this place will be closed after office hours! :(

I have no choice but to stay in my room to play with my cars and channel surfing lor. But then, the TV programs not nice at all :(

Luckily, daddy brought the laptop and played my favourite Baby Einstein shows for me… hehe.

Ok, now I’m going to talk about the traumatic experiences I had during my stay at the bungalow. I was pretty happy and smiling away to the green uniform nurses at the counter just outside my room. Then, minutes later after resting on the bed, I was swaddled up by the nurses except my left arm and held me down on the bed. I was totally terrified and screaming away loudly for requesting to set me free!! Then, one the nurses tied a band on my left arm and kept pressing my arm to look for veins. Next, a long needle poked on my arm trying to withdraw some blood. Yup, it’s for blood test according to mummy. The test was to find out whether I caught the Dengue bug or not! Then, I was given 3ml of Paracetamol for fever… yucks!

After 30 mins later, I was taken to a room at the Kids’ ward. Again I was wrapped up and this time excluded my right arm. I screamed and cried hard to seek for help from mummy but then she was shooed away by the nurses to leave the room!! I got more scared and traumatized without mummy’s presence!! So the picture above showed my right hand after spending the 15 mins in the room with the nurses. :(

Besides, I also need to take the antibiotic jab and saline water to clear the needle and vein on every 8 hours! Ouch!!

After having all these horrors… all I wanted was my mummy! I don’t want anybody  and not even daddy to touch or carry me! So clung to mummy all the time as it’s safe to be with mummy! More ever, I don’t want to eat anything except mummy’s milk and plain water only! No appetite to eat…

Roaming around at the corridor…

Plucking the stars from the Xmas tree…

Phew… luckily the aunty didn’t catch me for plucking the stars!!

Nevertheless, I was terribly phobia of staying inside the room as the nurses will come in and force me to take jabs and meds again! So, I fussed and got cranky every time mummy took me inside of my room or put me on the bed. I refused to go into the room and I would rather roamed around outside of the room even at late night!! :( However, for the next 2 days, I didn’t have the energy to walk on my own so I clung to mummy and whined all the time to ask her bring me out of the room… :P

Fortunately, I was allowed to leave the Bungalow on the 2nd day for few hours but I need to return to the Bungalow before 10pm which was time for my jabs! Therefore, daddy and mummy took me home for a bath as my fever was subsided and seeing me got bored and cranky staying at the Bungalow. After my bath, my face and body developed some rashes… and the Dr. confirmed the rashes are called Roseola aka known as fake measles on the 3rd day! Phew… also good news that no dengue but it’s only viral infection!  However, he suggested to mummy to extend my stay for another night to finish up the antibiotics jabs. Mummy agreed and she requested to take me home for the night with the condition to bring me back to take the jabs at 10pm and 8am on the next day! Ya, I missed home terribly… so did mummy as she accompanied me all the time during my stay!

Well, the photo above was taken on the 4th day after taking my last jab waiting to be discharged from the Bungalow. I didn’t cry but complained a little. ;) And now, I’m glad to be home!! Home sweet home… No more jabs and no more meds… hooray!!
