All I Want Is…

I drink milk every day! I could say I’m having 9 oz of milk on every 3-4 hours and milk has been my daily meals. Yup, I don’t like porridge or rice for the past few months.

I’ve been taking milk this way since I was about 8-9 months old. I don’t like drinking milk from the feeding bottle be it breast milk or the formula.

The adults had a tough time spoon feeding me as I don’t quite like drinking the formula.

However, lately I’m getting to like the formula a little. I would sit on the floor/chair (don’t need the baby chair) waiting to be fed like a king and eyes glued to the tv provided with the tv switched on to Channel 613 for my eyes.

I used to say no when the adults asked me to drink the formula. But now, I even request for milk before I hit the sack almost every night!

One of the reasons behind was get to watch channel 613, the channel subscribed for me recently… hehehe!

And the second reason??

I don’t want to sleep because I’m not sleepy! I want to stay awake and continue watching CARTOONS. However, mummy scolds doesn’t allow me to continue watching tv after taking my milk…

Thus, I chose daddy! Nowadays, I prefer daddy to feed me milk… so that I could have a longer tv session allowed by daddy!!

Besides that, I want Daddy to clean me up…

Daddy to wash my body…

Daddy to bring me water to gargle my mouth after brushing teeth…

Daddy to wash my hair…

Daddy to wear my diaper and pants…

Daddy to wear my shirt/PJ, shoes etc etc.

All I want is……. DADDY!!! Nope, not even Nai Nai. Oh by the way, someone is extremely HAPPY about it as she could have extra FREE time harvesting in Farmville!

Anyway does Ryan know how to spit out when gargling / brushing his teeth? Philip still cannot wor…

Ryan mami says: Yes, he knows but sometimes, he would drink the water. So, I always give him the boiled water instead of tap water.

how to train Ryan to use toothbrush ler?? JiHin refuses to brush his teeth and screaming like nobody when see the toothbrush…big headache for me

Kids like to follow what the adults did. Ryan used to stand outside of the bathroom and see me brushing my teeth. Since then, he would request for the toothbrush to try out. Actually, he didn’t really brush his teeth well as he’s just bite on the toothbrush and also kept turning it around (tries to imitate the movement of the tooth brush in and out).

Have you demonstrate teeth brushing to JiHin? You can try to demonstrate brushing your teeth to Ji Hin in order to show him the purpose of the tooth brush. I let my boy try it out without tooth paste first. Then later on, I bought the kodomo lion toothpaste for him. He likes the grape flavour…

Mummy senang lah now..hehe. Ryan drinks alot of milk ya. Wah..every 3-4 hours..geng ah.

He doesn’t like rice or porridge? Could it be that he may be sick of rice? How about trying out noodles, sandwiches, spaghetti/macaroni or pizza. Kyle was like that as well before he turned 2 and he hardly eats rice and hates porridge.

Wow…more leisure and well-deserved rest time for mommy now

Ryan mami says: 6 months back, he refused to take the porridge and rice. He only accepts noodles; any types of noodles, kuey teow, vermicelli etc. However, the intake not much. So, milk was the only choice to feed him even though he doesn’t quite like it. Somehow, he would be able to finish up his milk. And, lately he’s started to like milk a little…

For Sarah, she used to dislike it. I think I will try it again.

sigh…ryan..you are just like ashley. only take milk thru the spoon. you don’t like the sippy cup? err..mommy, maybe can use the soup spoon as it’s bigger? ashley only started to drink from a cup when she was 2 1/2 years old. nightmare just thinking abt it.

good that he only wants daddy to wash up for him….hehehehhe

wow.. can safe $$ spend on feeding bottles adi!!! good boy!!! perhaps can get him to drink from the cup himself next?? so Daddy can have some rest…

though chloe can drink frm the cup pretty early but she still prefer to drink her milk (only milk) in the bottle… but drink milo from the cup.. :S prob too get use to “milk in the bottle” since young.. hahaa

anyway, ryan still look chubby at this stage… well done mama!!!

Ryan’s like to wash his hair standing up? how you train him on this? cos my coming to 4YO boy simply refuse to wash his hair standing up *haizz*

Haha… he doesn’t like to wash hair actually…especially when rinsing the hair part. Even though washing his hair in cradling position (like washing for a baby), he’ll struggle to get up and refused to wash his hair. So, we got no choice but to let him stand up and have a quick rinse off the shampoo by showering from top! And of course, he did scream . That’s what we’re training him now to conquer his fear of getting his hair & eyes wet and we hope he would get used to it after some time .

I found something in common with Xixi. First, Xixi not really likes porridge and rice; second, she prefered Daddy than mummy. Hahaha… So i guess we’re in the same boat! However, Xixi is very thin at her age now, but Ryan still looks chubby…. which is very good!

your boy is so cute! my boy was used to feed by spoon when drinking milk too…
